Jennifer Gonzales is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She has been practicing in pediatrics since 2000.
Jennifer completed her undergraduate education in 1999 at Oklahoma Baptist University where she earned a Bachelor in Science Degree. She went on to complete her graduate studies at the University of South Alabama in 2016 where she earned a Master in Science Degree. She is certified by both the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and by the Pediatric Nurse Certification Board in pediatric primary care.
After one year of Adult medical/ surgical nursing she realized her calling was in pediatrics where she has been practicing since 2000. She was a charge nurse for 9 years at St. Francis Children’s Hospital where she specialized in the care of oncology and post-surgical patients. As an RN, her career also includes 4 years of primary care office experience and 4 years of pediatric emergency care at St. Francis Pediatric Emergency Center where she was a charge nurse. Since 2017 she has been practicing as a nurse practitioner in a primary care office.
Jennifer is married to a Tulsa firefighter and has 3 children. Her free time is spent with family and serving in her church.
Jennifer is committed to practicing medicine with a holistic approach utilizing evidence-based guidelines. She believes in keeping open lines of communication between families and providers. She provides excellent medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. She believes her calling is to serve others with the care and compassion she would give her own family.
